2025 F1 Standings So Far: Could We See a New Champion?
5 races into the 2025 F1 season, the championship battle is shaping up to be one of the most exciting in years. In the top three, we currently have Oscar Piastri , Lando Norris , and Max Verstappen . This year, it truly feels like we could see a McLaren champion —a huge shift from recent seasons. Between the two teammates, it’s a close fight, but I believe Oscar Piastri is slowly establishing a more stable and consistent base, positioning himself as the stronger contender for the title, but Lando is not far behind and could flip the narrative in his favor easily. For the Constructors' Championship, the top three are currently McLaren , Mercedes , and Red Bull . McLaren is leading by a long shot this year, and based on their pace and consistency, I don’t see this changing anytime soon.
